History
After working for years at large EPCM companies I found that I wanted more of a challenge. Grizzly Claw Consulting Ltd. was founded on the fact I wanted to do things better, quicker and more streamlined than large EPCM companies. Technology was changing the ability to be able to work remotely and I found larger companies shipping out work to foreign lands which was a cheaper alternative. This made me realize that we could use technology as well by developing a company and workplace that would allow people to work remotely or at home and be able to fit other facets of their life into their job. This was well before COVID-19 and while more companies are now allowing employees to work from home, Grizzly Claw Consulting has been using the remote working environment for over a decade. This allows our sub-consultants and employees the ability to fit ‘life’ into the workplace by allowing flexibility within the work environment by using technology. Being a father with a young family opened my eyes on what is really important. At Grizzly Claw Consulting we work with a passion because spending time with our families makes the everyday work experience more enjoyable.

PRESIDENT
Lande Edmiston, P.Tech.(Eng)
From working in large EPC companies to consulting for both large and small Engineering Firms, Lande has lead large Engineering Design Teams as well as clients both small and large for nearly 20 years. He has worked with clients like Imperial Oil, Syncrude, Suncor, Pembina, Encana, PETRONAS, Repsol, Shell, Tourmaline among others. He has the hands-on experience with how new regulations can affect the Oil & Gas Industry.
Passions & Extracurriculars
Outside of work Lande enjoys skiing, snowboarding, photography, hiking and pretty much anything outdoors. He coaches Little League Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball including travel teams in the summer and helps out as an evaluator and coach for youth hockey. Travel is a huge part of his life with kids along with sports and music.
